Houston’s Ronald McDonald House gratefully accepts donations. We depend upon generous help from individuals, corporations, and foundations to help pay the costs of providing a home away from home for the children and families we serve.

Volunteering at Houston's Ronald McDonald House
In 2010, Houston's Ronald McDonald House Volunteers gave 25,813 hours of their time, which equates to a value of $550,000 in support of our House programs. Volunteer enthusiasm for our programs and dedication to our mission helps to make our House a home 365 days a year for hundreds of children and their families. The Young Friends of Houston's Ronald McDonald House
Founded in 1991, The Young Friends of Houston's Ronald McDonald House is an organization of young professionals that perform fundraising, provide monthly meals and plan activities for the families and children of the House. They also organize family activities such as visits to the zoo, Houston Space Center, and arts and crafts for the children and their families. Find out how.

The Friends of Houston's Ronald McDonald House bring joy, comfort, and financial support to the House and the families who call this Ronald McDonald House "home". Whether they are serving a delicious meal at one of our facilities, providing special holiday decorations, cleaning and organizing the communal kitchen, hosting a children's party or hosting their major fundraiser Girls Just Wanna Have Fun….they do it all with great enthusiasm and style.
